NEAT hosts the WiS for the 10th time in our DARK MONDAY @ MERLIN series!
It has become a long standing NEAT tradition to present English language Poets, Playwrights, and Authors who reside and work in Stuttgart as part of the DARK MONDAY @ MERLIN series. We have hosted evenings with the Award Winning Poet Stephen Thomas, the Published Author and Poet Daniel Regelbrugge, the up and coming, highly popular Poet and Songwriter Archie Macjoyce, and on several occasions presented the newest works of Playwright Michael Hilton in Dramatic World Premiere Readings.
NEAT is proud to host the WRITERS IN STUTTGART for the 10th time in the history of the DARK MONDAY @ MERLIN series.
The WRITERS IN STUTTGART collective is a group of authors, poets, and playwrights from different cultural backgrounds who live in the region and write in English. Their presentations of themed evenings featuring original poems, short stories, and essays have become a much anticipated annual tradition. Pianist Florian Eisentraut will accompany the evening and provide appropriate musical embellishment.

HARVEST by The Writers in Stuttgart
It’s Harvest time. What will we reap with the start of the New Year? Before we can begin to plant new crops, we have to sweep away the old. Habits, deeds, and lessons… on our own and as a planet, the time of reckoning has arrived.
Are you brave enough to Harvest?
It has long become a beloved annual tradition that the first installment of the monthly Dark Monday @ Merlin series of each year is devoted to The Writers in Stuttgart. Neat – New English American Theatre is, once again, proud to host this collective of authors, poets, and playwrights from different cultural backgrounds that live in the region and write in English. They will present a selection of Harvest themed essays, original poems, short stories, and other texts.
