If Uka didn’t photograph it, it didn’t happen!
Friend and Professional photographer Uka Meissner deRuiz is an integral member of the NEAT team and has been documenting New English American Theatre projects for nearly 30 years! She always manages to capture just the right image at just the right moment.
Many of her fabulous photos have been printed in Magazines and Newspapers to publicize NEAT shows. Beyond the “working relationship” that binds us, Uka’s personal friendship is treasured by all and her dedication to the group is highly appreciated.
The NEAT archive contains literally thousands of rehearsal and performance photos that will be given a forum here on our website on a regular basis; beginning with the spectacular images Uka captured at the November 11 performance of CASABLANCA in THEATER AM OLGAECK.
Long after the respective shows have been put aside, Uka’s images continue to delight those “caught in the act” or who simply those who appreciate photographic works of art. Uka’s images are the source of pleasurable memories for all former and current NEAT actors and can now be enjoyed and shared on the NEAT homepage.
