MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS

by Agatha Christie
Adapted for the stage by
Ken Ludwig

Step aboard the world’s most famous train for an unforgettable journey of mystery, glamour, and murder!

This classic whodunit arrives as part of the Stuttgarter Kriminächte, performed in English by our community theatre ensemble.

In this intimate, cabaret-style setting, the audience sits close enough to feel the suspense as legendary detective Hercule Poirot races to solve a shocking crime before the killer strikes again. Distinguished by his waxed moustache and immense vanity as he solves his crimes, his fictional death received a front-page obituary in the New York Times upon his literary death in Curtain.
Gone are the grand Broadway sets—our production brings the story to life through vivid storytelling, ingenious stagecraft, and richly detailed period costumes, designed by our very own professional costumer to capture the elegance of a bygone age.

Join a train full of colourful characters, from glamorous travellers to secretive strangers, as the Orient Express thunders from Istanbul into the snowy mountains of Yugoslavia—where the journey comes to a deadly halt.

Expect tension, laughter, and theatrical magic in this stylish reimagining of one of the greatest mysteries ever written.

All aboard for an evening of intrigue, wit, and timeless suspense!

Director: Leslie Gale Dane’y
Producer: David Burmedi
