What if the <em>entire cast<\/em> consisted of <strong>Clowns<\/strong>!?<\/p>\n<p>What happens when an international troupe of direly unemployed <strong>Clowns<\/strong>, attempt to raise money to survive, by staging the most well known and beloved romantic tragedy of all time; <strong>ROMEO &amp; JULIET<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In their <em>somewhat <\/em>abbreviated adaptation, the <strong>Clowns<\/strong> do utilize Shakespeare\u2019s original text but don\u2019t hesitate to add some words of their own (<em>mostly Hindi and Chinese<\/em>), while keeping the gist of the bard&#8217;s story intact about the two young, ill-fated, star crossed lovers.<\/p>\n<p>Nothing is sacred in the <strong>Clown<\/strong>\u2019s version of \u201c<em>the greatest romantic tragedy the world has ever known<\/em>\u201d as they explore the perplexities, plights, and predicaments of <em>Love<\/em>, <em>Lust<\/em>, and <em>Vengeance<\/em> in the pursuit of <em>Laughter<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The bard\u2019s plays, particularly the tragedies, are serious affairs that require <em>great acting, elaborate period costumes, a proper theatre<\/em> and <em>traditionally all roles played by men<\/em>.
