\nDylan Thomas creates an emotive sense of nostalgia. \nDylan Thomas originally wrote A CHILD\u2019S CHRISTMAS IN WALES for radio and recorded it himself in 1952. With this recording, Thomas singlehandedly launhed the Audio Book Industry in the USA, where he was enormously popular. The Welsh poet and writer enjoyed performing\u00a0his texts himself and his public readings won him great acclaim. His sonorous voice with a subtle Welsh lilt became nearly as famous as his works.\u00a0Our reading features Welsh actor and singer Derrick Jenkins; who had a personal encounter with Dylan Thomas as a young boy in Wales. He will be accompanied on the Harp by Lucia Cericola.<\/p>\n
